Here is one of the many sunflowers which are sprinkled across the lot.
Simon was the only brave enough (besides me) to get out of the van into the summer heat.
I figure this is the only piece of the current landscape which will survive the construction. I might make a tradition of getting a pic taken here as work progresses.
...and then Grace finally got the courage to step out into the heat and pose by the sign.
Here are a couple short videos I took. It was quite windy, despite the heat, so there is a bit of noise on these clips.

Thats how all our construction videos sound, like there's a hurricane a blowin!
We all liked the video but Rhys loved watching Simon ride his bike! He was very interested in the glasses too. He waved to his Grandma and Grandpa too.
Well. He must've known we were waving at HIM! :D
